Instability that later escalated into regional war led my parents to move to southern Spain and send me to boarding school in Switzerland at eleven. The upheaval sparked a lasting interest in military history, while unfamiliar environments forged composure and an instinct for reading the room. Further studies led me to the United States and South Africa, where Zen Buddhism in North Carolina marked a turning point, making deliberate self-development a discipline pursued with the same intensity.

Financial autonomy demands preparation and decisive action. Geopolitical shocks, economic volatility and accelerating AI sharpened my resolve: reduce reliance on active income, geography and constant human interaction. The objective was clear—build an income-generating capability beyond my own working hours. StormShadow is the result: a proprietary command platform for deploying and managing fleets of automated trading systems.

During postgraduate studies I began building businesses, starting with premium wooden crates. I went on to found Changing Tides Ltd, Wealth-Point Legacy (with its Elite Mentor Video Series), the Entrepreneurs' Circle and Southern Blu-Fields Advisory. A later focus on financial trading education built the market expertise behind StormShadow.

On the recommendation of an energy executive, I was invited to join Africa’s largest privately owned aerospace and defence group—developing and manufacturing armoured vehicles, military aircraft, unmanned systems and naval vessels. I soon assumed senior executive responsibilities, supporting sovereign states and peacekeeping operations across air, land and sea. The role puts a lifelong study of military history, strategy and technology into operational practice—where preparedness has consequences and capability matters. An honour, serving the men and women in uniform.

At a wedding in southern France, I met the chairman of a Spanish energy group. My fluency in his language led to his mentorship, opening the door to large-scale projects in Africa. Over nearly a decade, I earned PRINCE2® and PMP® qualifications and built operational experience across SADC, later leading as East Africa Regional Manager, developing and directing programmes from Djibouti to Tanzania.

Planning for the next chapter draws on Anti-Access/Area Denial (A2/AD), a military doctrine that restricts an adversary’s freedom of action, and on antifragility—the capacity to benefit from disruption. My intent: limit the reach of external shocks, preserve freedom of manoeuvre and turn inevitable turbulence into opportunity.
